Lucien the Lunatic is a book in Fable II. Subtitled "The Unauthorized Biography", this is one of the few surviving copies of the unofficial life story of Lord Lucien, most of them having been destroyed in a great fire along with the anonymous author, according to some.

It delves into the darker and more secretive parts of Lucien's history, from the claims that his grandmother was a madwoman who had to be locked in the attic, to the speculation that there may have been foul play in the death of his sister. The book contends that the loss of his wife and daughter later in life plunged Lord Lucien not just into despair, but into the kind of insanity that almost certainly runs in the Fairfax blood.

Unbuckle your seatbelt. I'm going to roll down the windows so we can swim out. Frantically, she unbuckled his belt and tried to pull him toward her, but the steering wheel was too tight against his chest. She was holding Flynn's face out of the water, pushing him as far up as she could until their heads were touching the roof of the car.
She couldn't believe this was happening. It was just like her dream. They were going to die. Where was her backup when she needed them? Uncle Pat! Write a Review. Lunatic Revenge 4. Anonymous More than 1 year ago Looking forward to more from the Lunatic Series. Anonymous More than 1 year ago I really enjoyed this series. Interesting story line, great characters, wonderful read for young teens.
Kept my interest throughout. It feels like the author is just picking out each character to have issues. I almost felt like I was reading a TV serial script. It was very predictable, and as one reviewer has already mentioned, I felt like the ending Book 3 in the My Lunatic Life series. It was very predictable, and as one reviewer has already mentioned, I felt like the ending a cliffhanger, to boot! Sorry, no can do. I so dislike cliffhangers as it is. I'm sorry; I'm not going to be able to read anymore in this series.
This saddens me, but really: I saw this coming in the first book. Overall, I would recommend this series to YA females; I think they will really enjoy the story; but it didn't do much for me. Two stars. Not dead in the water, but traveling fast towards that end. Jan 29, Annika rated it really liked it.
When I first read Lunatic Life, I was hooked! I mean, Tara was an astonishing main character and her whole life was rather interesting. And her abilities? Wicked cool! I read a whole bunch of excerpts and stuff before I got the book and those little teasers seriously killed me because I wanted to read it soo badly. I feel like gushing about how cute Flynn and Tara are, but then that wouldn't really be a review. They are such a cute couple though!
I heart them! I may not be super crazy in love with the Lunatic Life series, but it is pretty notable, a quick read, and totally worth it. A wonderful book! Too bad it's a cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next book. Jan 05, Michele Genest rated it really liked it Shelves: supernatural , read-more-challenge , ya.
Enjoyed this story and am very happy to have another I can recommend to my students. I now have to read the rest of the series. I may have to check out what Sala writes for adults too.
